Background and Challenge:
The Community Well, initiated by the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, embarked on a mission to establish a community center that serves as a hub for local engagement and support. Despite successfully completing a capital fundraising campaign, they faced the challenge of effectively launching and promoting the new community center.
Approach and Solution:
Our agency initiated the project by conducting thorough audience research, which provided insights into the community's needs and preferences. This research informed the refinement of their business plan, ensuring it aligns with community expectations.
We then overhauled their existing WordPress website, enhancing user experience and accessibility. The migration from ConstantContact to MailChimp streamlined their email marketing efforts, allowing for more effective communication with their audience by each of their internal workgroups. We refined their mailing lists for better targeting and efficiency.
Recognizing the importance of facility management for the community center, we implemented an online booking system and helped update the tie-in to their digital signage.
As the launch of the new space approaches, we will design a comprehensive marketing plan. This plan includes targeted online and offline marketing campaigns, community outreach programs, and strategic partnerships with local organizations.
Conclusion:
The updates of The Community Well's digital presence and marketing strategies play a crucial role in the successful launch of its new community center. By aligning their services with the needs of the community and leveraging modern digital tools, they will be able to effectively engage their audience and establish the community center as a vital resource in Lawrenceville. The project highlights the importance of understanding the target audience and the power of integrating technology with traditional community values to achieve success in the non-profit sector.
